Shipping Update – Please Read

Thank you everyone for your enormous support and enthusiasm for our latest two titles, and for your patience as I fill your orders as quickly as I can. I expect to have all outstanding orders shipped by the end of next week, with the majority of them going out by end of day on Tuesday the 18th of May. As always, if you think something has gone wrong with your order or if you want to rage at me about how long it is taking me to ship your books, get in touch.

At the beginning of the year, I promised not to pass on the increased DHL and Royal Mail shipping costs to customers and said that I would review the situation in late May. To date I have absorbed all additional costs related to Covid, Brexit, and the general annual increase in costs. What I have learned is that DHL is no longer a viable option, and that my Royal Mail business account will provide a better, more cost-effective service for all of us.

From 1 June 2021 all customer orders will be shipped via Royal Mail, tracked and insured. The DHL shipping option will be removed from the website, and shipping costs will be adjusted to reflect current pricing. In some cases, this will mean the shipping cost will decrease. Wholesale orders will still be shipped via DHL.

I will review this adjustment in December 2021 and make any necessary changes then. I rely on you to let me know when things go wrong on your end, and am always here to help make them right.
